| dc.description | The research problem stems from the deterioration of the housing property in the historic center of Candelaria due to the loss of resident population. For this reason, the proposal establishes residential activity as an activator of the immovable and intangible heritage by guaranteeing the permanent vitality of the center. To promote the permanence of current residents, the social bond of community life is strengthened through collaborative housing and the development of traditional activities and trades that encourage productive life and local commerce. The project establishes a direct relationship between the new work and the architectural recycling as a mechanism for the valuation of the patrimonial environments and preservation of the historical urban profile. The new architecture promotes the development of the city and the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants, implementing a mixture of uses that favors the daily activities and activates the sector, which leads to the recognition and valuation of the real estate heritage. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | El problema de investigación parte del deterioro del patrimonio inmueble habitacional en el centro histórico de la Candelaria debido la pérdida de población residente. Por esta razón, la propuesta establece la actividad residencial como activadora del patrimonio inmueble e intangible al garantizar la vitalidad permanente del centro. Para promover la permanencia de los actuales residentes, se fortalece el vínculo social de la vida en comunidad por medio de la vivienda colaborativa como también el desarrollo de actividades y oficios tradicionales que incentiven la vida productiva y el comercio local. El proyecto establece una relación directa entre la obra nueva y el reciclaje arquitectónico como mecanismo para la valoración de los entornos patrimoniales y preservación del perfil urbano histórico. La nueva arquitectura fomenta el desarrollo de la ciudad y a la mejora de la calidad de vida de los habitantes, implementando una mezcla de usos que favorece las actividades cotidianas y activa el sector, lo que conlleva al reconocimiento y valoración del patrimonio inmueble. | spa |
