| Resumen: | El tratamiento de las aguas residuales de origen doméstico y/o industrial tiene como resultado final el agua tratada y el lodo residual, este último es un biosólido con características de peligrosidad dependiendo de los componentes presentes en las aguas a tratar; por tanto, esté debe tener un adecuado manejo, tratamiento y disposición final, para disminuir los riesgos o impactos negativos a la salud y el ambiente. Actualmente se pueden encontrar diferentes usos de aprovechamiento de los biosólidos de acuerdo a características físicas, químicas, microbiológicas y de peligrosidad que estos tengan y así poderlos clasificar de tipo A o B para sus diferentes usos basado en la normatividad nacional legal vigente (Decreto 1287 de 2014). |
| Abstract: | The treatment of domestic and/or industrial wastewater has as ultimately results the treated water and sewage sludge, the latter is a biosolid with hazardous characteristics depending on the components present in the water to be treated; therefore, it must have a suitable handling, treatment and final disposal to reduce risks or the negative impacts to human health and the environmental. Currently different uses of biosolids can be found according to physical, chemical, microbiological and hazard characteristics that it has and thus can be classify them as type A or B for their different uses based on the national legal regulations (decree 1287 of 2014). |
