Resumen:	"La sostenibilidad, derivada del informe de Brundtland de 1987, busca satisfacer las necesidades presentes sin afectar las futuras generaciones. Este enfoque integra el crecimiento económico, el uso responsable de los recursos y las necesidades sociales para crear una sociedad justa y equitativa, para lograr la sostenibilidad, las empresas deben transformar sus procesos de gestión. Para conseguir este propósito se desarrolló una investigación de tipo mixto, combinando enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos, con el objetivo de formular un plan de sostenibilidad empresarial para una MiPymes dedicada al saneamiento ambiental básico, enfocándose en el manejo integrado de plagas urbanas. El proyecto incluyó diagnóstico de responsabilidad social, análisis estratégico para identificar oportunidades de negocio, desarrollo de un nuevo modelo de gestión alineado con la misión de la empresa y la elaboración del plan de sostenibilidad estructurado para definir los temas que serán integrados en la estrategia de sostenibilidad. El diagnóstico mostró que la empresa necesita mejorar en la comunicación de su responsabilidad social y en prácticas ambientales, especialmente debido a su dependencia de plaguicidas. La empresa debe explorar nuevas tecnologías para mejorar su competitividad y cumplir con demandas ambientales y sociales. La falta de planificación sostenible amenaza su rentabilidad y permanencia. El plan de sostenibilidad aborda estos desafíos promoviendo eficiencia energética, reducción de residuos, uso de recursos renovables y políticas de responsabilidad social. Los pilares estratégicos son gobernanza, medio ambiente, trabajo seguro y salud, y colaboradores. "
Abstract:	Sustainability, derived from the 1987 Brundtland report, seeks to meet present needs without affecting future generations. This approach integrates economic growth, responsible use of resources and social needs to create a fair and equitable society. To achieve sustainability, companies must transform their management processes. To achieve this purpose, a mixed-type research was developed, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, with the objective of formulating a business sustainability plan for a MSME dedicated to basic environmental sanitation, focusing on integrated urban pest management. The project included a diagnosis of social responsibility, strategic analysis to identify business opportunities, development of a new management model aligned with the company's mission and the elaboration of a structured sustainability plan to define the issues that will be integrated into the sustainability strategy. The diagnosis showed that the company needs to improve in the communication of its social responsibility and in environmental practices, especially due to its dependence on pesticides. The company must explore new technologies to improve its competitiveness and meet environmental and social demands. The lack of sustainable planning threatens its profitability and permanence. The sustainability plan addresses these challenges by promoting energy efficiency, waste reduction, use of renewable resources and social responsibility policies. The strategic pillars are governance, environment, safe work and health, and employees.
