| Resumen: | La industria polimérica se ha ido expandiendo por el mundo a lo largo de las últimas décadas, al ser un campo que permite el desarrollo y la innovación de herramientas, productos y mecanismos, moldeando directamente elementos tan versátiles y polifacéticos que favorecen la vida cotidiana del ser humano, a tal punto que se puede evidenciar como la sociedad está plagada actualmente de elementos plásticos a niveles nunca antes vistos. La contaminación que se ha derivado de esta sobreproducción a nivel mundial, radica no solo en la larga vida de un plástico sino en los agentes y capacidad de contaminación que liberan los mismos durante su proceso degradativo. Es aquí donde entra la metodología ampliamente usada hoy en día para diferentes sectores de la sociedad como lo es la visión e implementación del desarrollo sostenible. |
| Abstract: | The polymer industry has been expanding throughout the world over the last decades, being a field that allows the development and innovation of tools, products and mechanisms, directly molding such versatile and multifaceted elements that favor the daily life of the being. human, to the point that it can be seen how society is currently plagued by plastic elements at levels never seen before. The contamination that has been derived from this global overproduction lies not only in the long life of a plastic but also in the agents and capacity for contamination that they release during their degradation process. This is where the methodology widely used today for different sectors of society comes in, such as the vision and implementation of sustainable development. |
