Abstract: | This project was carried out in order to reduce the uncertainty in the identification of prospective areas in the Kashkari field located in Afghanistan. By means of images made by means of satellite remote sensing spectrometry for the location of hydrocarbon deposits, in the area of interest designated by the project operator, WATAN OIL AND GAS. The study was carried out in an area of 68 km2, in which the first phase of the project was executed; in a scale of 1:12000. As a result, 16 anomalies were found due to the presence of the same number of deposits. This allowed a better location of zones for drilling and development plans. From the results of the satellite spectrography, 7 anomalies were selected; taking into account as a parameter the extension of the area observed in phase 1 of the implementation of the oil and gas search tool. In these anomalies, the second (ECECI) and third (SVER) phase respectively of the tool's implementation was applied. It was determined that 5 of the 7 selected anomalies present commercial prospectivity, based on the volume of rock saturated 100% with oil and gas, according to the profiles obtained in the third phase of the tool implementation where it is evident the net thickness of rock containing hydrocarbon. |
