Resumen:	La Gestión Pública en Colombia ha atravesado por una serie de reformas, ajustes y modificaciones, las cuales han conllevado al deterioro de la misma, pues se han materializado situaciones indeseadas, tales como la corrupción, razón por la cual surgen iniciativas como el Índice de Gobierno Abierto (IGA) que buscan servir de herramienta para evitar que las entidades Estatales caigan en estos actos delictivos. En el marco de lo anterior, los municipios del país se han sumado a este tipo de iniciativas, pues al igual que el nivel nacional y el departamental, los municipios buscan luchar contra la corrupción, a la vez que fortalecen su Gestión Pública, razón por la cual se analiza la manera en la que el IGA se ha constituido en una herramienta de mejora para la Gestión Pública en los municipios de Cundinamarca, identificando además el proceso recorrido hasta lograrlo, debido a que tal y como se evidenció, la relación entre estas variables es lineal positiva, y la incidencia del IGA sobre la Gestión es altamente significativa. De esta manera, durante el desarrollo de la investigación, se detecta que son los servidores públicos, la participación ciudadana y las herramientas tecnológicas las que han conllevado a la obtención de los resultados anteriormente señalados.
Abstract:	Public management in Colombia has been through a series of reforms, configurations and modifications which have led to the deterioration of this, because unwanted situations have materialized, such as corruption, reason why initiatives such as the Open Government Index (OGI) emerges. It seeks to serve as a tool to prevent State entities from falling into these criminal acts. In the context of the above, the municipalities of the country have joined to this type of initiatives, as well as the national and departmental level, municipalities seek to fight corruption, while strengthening their public management, which is why is analyzed how the IGA has been constituted as an improvement tool for the public management in the municipalities of Cundinamarca,also identifying the process traveled until enactment, because as was evidenced, the relation between these variables is linear positive , and the incidence of IGA on management is highly significant. In this way, during the development of the investigation, it is detected that they are the public servants, the citizen participation and the technological tools which have led to the obtaining of the previously indicated results.
