Resumen:	Este artículo intenta explicar el rol de los organismos internacionales frente a la relación de la demografía con el crecimiento económico, desde la agenda, pero también desde sus mandatos y como se articulan con los estados en la construcción de la política pública. Refiere, caracteriza y evalúa las iniciativas de los organismos internacionales y su interacción con la sociedad civil y los demás actores del sistema internacional, indagando por sus metodologías, pero también explorando su agenda pendiente e identificando las motivaciones, preocupaciones y avances de temas de investigación y centros de pensamiento existente, así como la sostenibilidad del crecimiento económico y su vulnerabilidad frente a las nuevas coyunturas que se convierten en retos desde lo cultural, social, ambiental, etc.
Abstract:	This article attempts to explain the role of international organizations deal with the relationship of demographics to economic growth from the agenda, but also from their mandates and as articulated by the states in the construction of public policy. Concerned, characterizes and assesses the efforts of international organizations and their interaction with civil society and other actors in the international system , asking about their methodologies , but also exploring its outstanding agenda and identifying the motivations, concerns and progress of research topics and existing centers of thought as well as the sustainability of economic growth and its vulnerability to new situations that become challenges from cultural, social, environmental, etc.
