Abstract
El siguiente trabajo describió la problemática de los embalajes que vive el mundo, centrándose principalmente en Colombia. Se definió la importancia que tienen estos materiales para las cadenas de comidas rápidas y la gran problemática ambiental que han generado a lo largo de su uso en la historia. Al mismo tiempo, se recolectaron cifras y datos de la producción, contaminación e impactos que generan. Igualmente, se analizó todo el mercado que mueven los embalajes y se reunió información sobre las iniciativas que han realizado las cadenas de comidas rápidas en busca de la disminución del impacto que sus embalajes generan. Finalmente, de acuerdo con toda la bibliografía recolectada, se buscaron diferentes soluciones viables y factibles para disminuir el uso de los embalajes en los restaurantes de las cadenas de comidas rápidas y mediante el software Super Decisions se determinó la mejor alternativa para solucionar esta problemática.
Description
The following work describes the current situation in the world, focusing mainly on Colombia, with the problem of packaging, defining the importance that these have for fast food chains and the great environmental problems they have generated throughout their history. At the same time, figures and data of the production, of the pollution and impacts they generate and of the entire market that move the packaging are collected, in the same way, information is gathered on the initiatives that have been carried out by the fast food chains in search of the reduction of the impact that the packaging caused. Finally, according to all the collected bibliography, look for different viable and feasible solutions to reduce the use of packaging in the restaurants of fast food chains and using the Super Decisions software the best alternative for this problem was determined.
