| dc.description | For years, Colombia has faced a challenging housing deficit that currently affects 5.24 million people. This situation generates concern, especially for Colombian families struggling to acquire their own home. The root of the problem is the limited purchasing power of the population and the shortage of affordable housing available each year. In response to this problem, my undergraduate seminar project focuses on the design of a housing complex based on completely industrialized modules. These modules have numerous advantages compared to traditional home construction. The main objective is to not only address the housing need, but also ensure the sustainability of the project. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Durante años, Colombia ha enfrentado un desafiante déficit habitacional que actualmente afecta a 5,24 millones de personas. Esta situación genera preocupación, especialmente para las familias colombianas que luchan por adquirir una vivienda propia. La raíz del problema está en el poder adquisitivo limitado de la población y la escasez de viviendas asequibles disponibles cada año. En respuesta a esta problemática, mi proyecto de seminario de grado se enfoca en el diseño de un conjunto de viviendas basado en módulos completamente industrializados. Estos módulos presentan numerosas ventajas en comparación con la construcción tradicional de viviendas. El objetivo principal es no solo abordar la necesidad de vivienda, sino también garantizar la sustentabilidad del proyecto. | spa |
