Abstract
El presente trabajo es la recopilación de diferentes estudios realizados de la Enfermedad Holandesa, estudiado desde su origen en Holanda y su posterior llegada a Colombia. A nivel general se tocan los aspectos característicos de la dicha enfermedad, su inicio y el desarrollo de este fenómeno social, político y económico y las posteriores consecuencias de ello. Por último se tocan medidas políticas, que permiten controlar los efectos positivos que traen las bonanzas y con ello poder afrontar de mejor manera las crisis que acechan repentinamente a las economías y que tienen graves consecuencias sobre la política y la sociedad de los países.
Description
The following work is the compilation of different studies done on the Dutch Disease, studied from its origin in Holland to its arrival to Colombia. In general terms, it describes the principle characteristics of the Dutch Disease, its origin and development in the social, economic and political environment and the subsequent consequences of it. At the end, this work exposes the political measurements that permit the control of the positive effects of the booms in the economy and the possibility to handle them in a better way to face the crisis periods and the serious political and social consequences.
