dc.description | This work proposes the design of a mobile microgrid under renewable energy sources (solar-photovoltaic and wind), which provides an autonomous and efficient energy solution for an average home on the Island of Providencia, belonging to the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, identified as a Non-Interconnected Zone (ZNI) in Colombia. The problem covered by this research corresponds to the dependence that the island has on marine diesel as fuel for the electric power generation plants and the freight involved in transporting said fuel from the Cartagena plant, given the inability of the island to supply itself. of the National Interconnected System; in addition to the environmental impact generated by burning diesel. dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo propone el diseño de una microrred móvil bajo fuentes renovables de energía (solar-fotovoltaica y eólica), que brinda una solución energética autónoma y eficiente para una vivienda promedio de la Isla de Providencia, perteneciente al Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina, identificada como una Zona No Interconectada (ZNI) en Colombia. El problema que abarca esta investigación corresponde a la dependencia que tiene la isla con el diésel marino como combustible para las centrales de generación de energía eléctrica y los fletes involucrados para llevar dicho combustible desde la central de Cartagena, dada la imposibilidad de la isla para abastecerse del Sistema Interconectado Nacional; además del impacto ambiental que genera la quema del diésel.
