Resumen:	Choachí es uno de los municipios aledaños a Bogotá que suministra todo tipo de hortalizas, verduras y frutas y a su vez realiza la cosecha para poder abastecer el consumo diario del mismo municipio; por ende, éste genera una cantidad de residuos orgánicos considerables, para poder llegar a establecer un estudio y así aprovechar esta materia y transformarla en un servicio vital para la vida cotidiana. Durante la recolección de los residuos que se realiza el municipio de Choachí no se tiene ningún tipo de tratamiento de los mismos por lo tanto estos van directamente al relleno sanitario para su disposición final, por tal motivo surge la idea de implementar un proceso tecnológico con el que se busca transformar la materia orgánica mediante el control de condiciones físico químicas de los residuos y de las condiciones de operación del proceso de tal manera que el resultado sea un beneficio para la comunidad del municipio, por tal motivo se buscaron los métodos que más se acomodan a la necesidad de la comunidad del municipio; en el caso de la producción de biogás se aprovecha como fuente de energía para llevarlo a un proceso de combustión y poder redirigir esa energía calorífica a energía aprovechable por la comunidad, reduciendo así costos de un consumo energético suministrado por una entidad privada o gubernamental (EEC); En cuanto a la mejoría del abono se dirigirá el resultado a la parte agrícola para mejorar la calidad de los cultivos por causa de un mejor abono.
Abstract:	Choachí is one of the municipalities surrounding Bogotá that supplies all kinds of vegetables, greens and fruits and in turn performs the harvest to be able to supply the daily consumption of the same municipality; therefore, it generates a considerable amount of organic waste, in order to establish a study and thus take advantage of this matter and transform it into a vital service for daily life. During the collection of the waste that the municipality of Choachí does not have any type of treatment thereof, therefore they go directly to the sanitary landfill for final disposal, for this reason the idea of ​​implementing a technological process arises with the It seeks to transform organic matter by controlling the physical-chemical conditions of the waste and the operating conditions of the process in such a way that the result is a benefit for the community of the municipality, for this reason, the methods that are most widely used were sought. they accommodate the need of the municipality's community; In the case of biogas production, it is used as an energy source to carry it to a combustion process and to redirect that heat energy to energy that can be used by the community, thus reducing the costs of energy consumption supplied by a private or governmental entity (EEC ); Regarding the improvement of the fertilizer, the result will be directed to the agricultural part to improve the quality of the crops due to a better fertilizer.
