Resumen:	Esta investigación evaluó el estado actual de cumplimiento de la NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017 en el Laboratorio de Aguas de la Empresa de Servicios Públicos de Fusagasugá (EMSERFUSA E.S.P). El objetivo fue determinar las estrategias necesarias para la adopción de esta norma. Los hallazgos demuestran que la implementación de la norma puede aportar significativamente a la operatividad de la compañía, optimizando sus procesos, garantizando la fiabilidad de sus resultados, y facilitando un rápido posicionamiento en el mercado regional y nacional, aumentando los niveles de confianza en los procedimientos de la operación y dando un valor agregado al laboratorio de agua de EMSERFUSA E.S.P una vez este acreditado bajo la NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Por lo anterior, con el fin de establecer las estrategias necesarias para la implementación de la NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017, inicialmente se revisó el estatus del cumplimiento del laboratorio respecto a los requisitos generales de la norma citada, posteriormente, se efectuó un diagnóstico de la estructura física y organizacional del laboratorio actualmente, a través de una inspección documental, de observaciones técnicas y entrevistas personalizadas. Lo anterior permite obtener una visión aterrizada y en tiempo real del laboratorio, de esta manera exponer ante la alta dirección las ventajas competitivas de la pronta ejecución de la norma técnica, no solo vista como una oportunidad de mejora en cuanto a la ejecución de los proceso y actividades del laboratorio, sino también desde una perspectiva de mayor atracción de clientes de la región o nivel nacional, con base en la ejecución de la NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Abstract:	This research evaluated the current state of compliance with NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the Water Laboratory of the Public Services Company of Fusagasugá (EMSERFUSA E.S.P). The objective was to determine the strategies necessary for the adoption of this standard. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of the standard can significantly contribute to the company's operations, optimizing its processes, guaranteeing the reliability of its results, and facilitating rapid positioning in the regional and national market, increasing the levels of confidence in the operation procedures and giving added value to the water laboratory of EMSERFUSA E.S.P once it is accredited under NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Therefore, in order to establish the necessary strategies for the implementation of NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the laboratory's compliance status with the general requirements of the aforementioned standard was initially reviewed. Subsequently, a diagnosis of the laboratory's current physical and organizational structure was carried out through a documentary inspection, technical observations and personalized interviews. The above allows obtaining a grounded and real-time view of the laboratory, thus exposing to senior management the competitive advantages of the prompt execution of the technical standard, not only seen as an opportunity for improvement in terms of the execution of the laboratory's processes and activities, but also from the perspective of greater attraction of clients from the region or national level, based on the execution of NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
