Resumen:	El presente proyecto se realizó en las instalaciones de la empresa Arcolum LTDA., en el año 2016 del segundo semestre, este proyecto fue realizado con el propósito de reconocer los problemas más relevantes que se presentan y brinda propuestas que buscan el mejoramiento de las actividades. Para poder desarrollarlo se utilizaron herramientas de Ingeniería Industrial como el análisis PESTAL, autodiagnóstico empresarial que sirvieron para identificar oportunidades y amanezcas en el medio así mismo debilidades y fortalezas dentro de la empresa, se construyeron una serie de estrategias con ayuda de la matriz DOFA. Se implementó herramientas de ingeniería de métodos como diagramas de procesos, operaciones, estudio de tiempos con el fin de documentar los procesos productivos y de esta manera poder plantear mejoras, como lo fue la optimización de procesos y reducción de tiempos, se rediseñó la planeación estratégica y se crearon manuales de funciones a todos los puestos de trabajo, el proyecto tiene una inversión de $12´532.500.
Abstract:	This project has been carried out in the facilities of the company Arcolum LTDA., In the year 2016 of the second semester, this project was realized with the purpose of recognizing the most relevant problems that are presented and offers proposals that seek the improvement of the activities. For the development of industrial engineering tools such as the PESTAL analysis, business self-diagnosis that served to identify opportunities and dawns in the environment as well as weaknesses and strengths within the company, a series of strategies were built with the help of the DOFA matrix. It was implemented tools of engineering methods such as process diagrams, operations, time study in order to document the productive processes and in this way to be able to propose improvements, as was the process optimization and the reduction of the times, redesign the Strategic planning And function manuals were created for all jobs, the project has an investment of $ 12,532,500.
