Resumen: | El presente estudio evalúa una muestra de veinte pozos que operan con sistema de levantamiento artificial de bombeo electrosumergible e identifica aquellos que presentan un alto consumo de energía y/o una limitante operativa, bien sea por la condición de emulsión anteriormente mencionada o por alguna otra condición propia de cada pozo o de los equipos instalados; con la intención de generar para dichos pozos nuevos diseños de sistemas de bombeo electrosumergible diferentes a los actualmente instalados en búsqueda de disminuir los consumos de energía (por ende los costos operativos) o incrementar la capacidad de producción. Se busca disminuir el consumo energético a través de nuevos diseños, los cuales permitan que las bombas trabajen en su mejor punto de eficiencia durante su operación incluso con presencia de emulsiones, aumentando la vida operativa de estas y ahorrando energía eléctrica en los campos. |
Abstract: | The current study evaluates a sample of twenty wells operating with electrical-submersible pumps as artificial lift systems and identifies those with high energy consumption and/or operational limitations, either because of the emulsion condition mentioned above or by some other specific operational condition in each well or the equipment each one has installed; with the intention of generating for these wells new designs of electrical-submersible pumping systems different from those currently installed, aiming to reduce energy consumptions (and therefore operational costs) or increasing production capacity. It is pursued to reduce energy consumptions through new designs, which would allow pumps to work at their best effiency region during their operation even with the presence of emulsions, increasing their operational life and saving electrical energy in the fields. |
